Water Quality
Town Hall
On August 26, 2008, the BDD Board hosted a Town Hall on Water Quality in
the Southwest Room of Christus St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
Approximately 70 people attended the event, which was facilitated by Lucy
Moore. Four panelists presented information on the Buckman Direct Diversion
Project via a Power Point
Presentation.
The four panelists included Rick
Carpenter, BDD Project Manager; Robert
M. Gallegos, Environmental Specialist with the Public Utilities
Department of the City of Santa Fe; Norm
Gaume, P.E., a consultant to the BDD Board; and Dr.
Kerry Howe, an associate professor in civil engineering
at the University of New Mexico.
