Consuelo Bokum Ms. Bokum is a native of Santa Fe and a local water policy expert who has more than 15 years of water policy experience. She is the director of the Water Project, 1000 Friends of New Mexico. In 2006, she was awarded the New Mexico Earth Science Achievement Award. She is serving her third term as an at-large member on the BDD Project Board. |

Chris Calvert Councilor Chris Calvert was elected to the City Council in 2007 and appointed to the BDD Board the same year. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and Resource Studies and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. |

Harry B.
Montoya Elected in June 2002 and reelected in 2006, Commissioner Harry Montoya is currently serving as Santa Fe County Commissioner for District 1. Commissioner Montoya is President and CEO of Hands Across Cultures Corporation and has served as President of the New Mexico School Boards Association. He has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Westmar University. |

Rosemary Romero City Councilor Rosemary Romero was elected in March 2008 to a four-year term. She was appointed to the BDD Project Board in October 2008. Councilor Romero is a private consultant with more than 20 years experience facilitating numerous public involvement processes on various projects throughout the United States. She is Past President of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) and also served as co-chair of the Environmental Public Policy Section of ACR. She completed an Environmental Management Program at the College of Santa Fe and a Master in Arts Program in Environment and Community at Antioch College. She holds certificates in mediation, facilitation, environmental public policy and strategic planning and is a graduate of Leadership New Mexico. |

Liz
Stefanics Liz Stefanics was elected to the Santa Fe County Commission in 2008 and was appointed a County Alternate to the BDD Project Board in 2009. She served as State Senator in the New Mexico State Legislature from 1993-96. During Governor Richardson’s administration, she has been appointed Director of the New Mexico Health Policy Commission, Director of the Risk Management Division and Deputy Secretary of the New Mexico Health and Human Services Department. She has also served as Regional Advocacy Manager at the National Government Relations Office, American Cancer Society, in Washington, D.C. She received her undergraduate academic training from Eastern Kentucky University, and holds an MS from the University of Wisconsin and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She has also completed postdoctoral work at Ohio State University and the University of New Mexico in Law, and is a Certified Risk Manager for Public Entities from AICPCU IIA. |

Rebecca
Wurzburger Councilor Rebecca Wurzburger represents Santa Fe City Council, District 2. She was reelected to the Council in March 2006 and is serving her second four-year term. She was elected chair of the BDD Board in January 2010, and previously served as vice-chair (2009) and chair (2008). She was a Founding Board Member of Cornerstones Community Partnership and co-founder of Santa Fe’s Habitat for Humanity Women Build Program. Councilor Wurzburger holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and has more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning and managing complex projects. She was the recipient of the 17th Annual Governor’s Award for Outstanding Women in New Mexico. |
