The Buckman Direct Diversion (BDD) Project is one of the largest and most complex non-federal public works projects in Northern New Mexico’s history. Construction of the BDD Project will bring major economic benefits to the region and is being paid for by all three partners. The BDD is particularly sensitive to minimizing environmental impacts as well as preserving as much of the area’s natural surroundings as possible.
